Xiaomi has rolled some of the best tablets in the past few years including the latest Pad 7 series in China. And now, the Xiaomi Pad 7 series appeared on the FCC certification pointing towards the launch of the Pads in the global market.

In the listing, the storage variants and network capabilities of the devices have been revealed. According to a report published by 91Mobiles, the Pad 7 series will carry two model numbers 2410CRP4CG (for the base variant) and 24091RPADG (for the Pro variant).

Xiaomi Pad 7 series details

The FCC certification revealed that the Pad 7 will support WiFi 6E and the Pro variant will support WiFi 7. Both the tablets will operate on the HyperOS 2.0. The Xiaomi Pad 7 will bring three storage variants. These include 8GB RAM with 128GB storage, 8GB RAM with 256GB storage, and 12GB RAM with 512GB internal storage.

The Pad 7 Pro will have similar storage variants as the base one with an additional 12GB RAM with 256GB internal storage. The Xiaomi Pads were also spotted on the BIS certification website pretty recently. Apart from that no other details regarding the specifications of the device have been revealed until now.

Now, considering that the global variant will carry the same specs as the Chinese variants (as it has happened in the past as well), then we know what we are going to see. The tablets will come with an 11.2-inch LCD display coupled with a 144Hz refresh rate. The base variant ships with Snapdragon 7+ Gen 3 SoC. Similarly, the Pro variant comes with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.

The Pad 7 brings a 13MP rear sensor and an 8MP front sensor. Furthermore, the Pro one comes with a 50MP rear shooter and a 32MP front snapper. Both tablets are powered by an 8,850mAh battery. The difference between the charging is that the charging speed. The base device has 45W fast charging support and the Pro device comes with 67W fast charging.

Expected pricing

As for the pricing, the Xiaomi Pad 7 is available in the Chinese market for Rs CNY 1,999 that converts to Rs 23,300. On the other hand, the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro is available in the Chinese market for CNY 2,499 that converts to Rs 29,200. Speculations are that we will get to see the device at a price similar to that in the Indian market.
