Only the Galaxy S25 series can install One UI 8 beta:

  • Galaxy S25
  • Galaxy S25+
  • Galaxy S25 Ultra

Galaxy S25 Edge is not in beta yet

Though it’s newer, Samsung is still testing it. Also, fewer users bought the Edge version. As per experts, it could be the reason, but the beta program for it will come sooner.

Samsung may add more devices in the coming days. If the rollout is smooth, more phones will join. Samsung aims to fix the update delays seen earlier.

When Will One UI 8 Reach All?

Google is launching Android 16 earlier this year. It may arrive by June 2025 officially. Samsung will release One UI 8 around that time too.

Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Flip 7 are planned to arrive in July. They might come with One UI 8 already installed. Other Galaxy phones may get it by August or September.

Samsung S25 and S24 users will likely get it early. Older phones may need to wait a bit longer. Galaxy S21 models may not get it at all.

Keep checking the Samsung Members app for updates. I would advise you to check it in your phone’s settings. Go to “Software Update” to see your phone’s version.

The Final Words

Samsung One UI 8 Eligible Devices are specifically Galaxy models. The final release may happen in June 2025. Stay updated with Samsung apps and check your phone settings today.
